Data and Privacy Protection: FinTax uses AWS’s robust infrastructure to comprehensively protect user data without requiring user private keys or non-read-only API keys.
FinTax for Individual: Financial Management: FinTax can anonymously import cryptocurrency transactions from major exchanges and wallets, and generate an asset dashboard, providing functions such as asset balance monitoring and profit/loss calculations.
Tax Filing: FinTax can automatically generate instantly available crypto asset tax reports to help users solve tax reporting challenges.
Privacy protection: FinTax does not store any private data related to user identity, does not require user Private Key and non-read-only API Key.
FinTax only requests your wallet address information and does not ask for private information such as private keys. Users can rest assured about the security of their accounts.
An API (Application Programming Interface) is a method for two or more computer programs to communicate with each other. An API is a way for computer systems to communicate quickly and securely while protecting your information.
API keys and private keys are credentials from exchanges used to retrieve transaction history information needed for tax calculations. It is strongly recommended to restrict permissions to help protect the API; our import instructions will show you how to do this.
FinTax only requires read-only information from the API key. Even though the key is called a “key,” it is completely safe as long as the permissions are read-only and does not pose a security risk to your account.
